How Mackenzie Aviation Got its Start

Linda MacKenzie has been licensed in the insurance business since 1972. In 1975 she moved into Greater Cleveland and was hired by John Makee of John Makee and Associates to handle his casualty and life accounts. Mr. Makee saw the potential Linda had to offer and quickly moved her into the aviation insurance field. This was the beginning of a prosperous 22 year relationship. Linda worked hard at promoting her new line of insurance. She would spend her nights and weekends soliciting business to help the growth of the aviation department.

In July of 1997 the company lost one of its key elements when John Makee passed away. It had been Mr. Makee's wish to see Linda purchase the agency and continue its success. This wish was realized in September of 1997 when Linda purchased the agency known as MacKenzie, Makee & Assoc., Inc. Even after the death of Mr. Makee the business continued to grow and prosper under Linda's direction. As of September 1998 MacKenzie, Makee & Associates, Inc. changed its name once more to its current name of MacKenzie Aviation Insurance Agency, Inc.

Today our office is supported by Linda, Michelle and Kristy. Our goal is to provide the most reasonable policies with competitive prices. That's the same philosophy that got us where we are today. We take pride in customizing your coverage to meet your specific requirements. Unlike larger aviation agencies, we have built our reputation by showing the "little guy" the same level of respect and dedication as our largest clients. We are licensed in over 18 states and are able to offer coverage in most states for your convenience. We offer a wide variety of coverage to meet your aviation needs and we represent all the major insurance carriers.
